Baked for you- Jaded Blossom Guest Designer

I'm so excited to have my first guest designer opportunity!  Thank you Candace & Michelle for allowing me to showcase your products!

I created these super fun Cookie Tags using the awesome Jaded Blossom Luggage Tag die and the 100% Handmade stamp set!

I think my favorite part of the die is the hole reinforcement.

I used my Cricut Explore's print & cut feature to cut out the cute image from Kadoodle Bug Designs (Ginger Cookies).  Making 30 tags there was no way I had the patience to paper piece all the Ginger Cookies together!!

Thanks for stopping by!  Now off to bake some cookies and put these cute tags to good use!!

Santa Pillow Boxes

How cute are these Santa Pillow Box?!?! I just love how cute and easy they turned out!

My mom was out visiting at the end of October and we went into a local scrapbooking store which had a sample box on display.  To my luck, my mom fell in love with the Santa Pillow Box so I ordered them from Lawn Fawn on her credit card. :)  (The scrapbooking store didn't have the set in stock yet.)

Here is a close up of a box.

In order to put these cute boxes together, I used the Pillow Box and Santa's Belly from Lawn Fawn.  Beings as I needed to make 15 boxes for my mom, I was also able to use up some of my scraps that have accumulated!

I just love being out on Thanksgiving Break so I can get some crafting done!  I'm entering this project into the following challenges:

Cool Holiday Wishes- Penguin Card

I just love the way this card turned out!!  So much cuter then I had imagine.  lol  The idea for my card this Lawn Fawn card.

For my card I used Jaded Blossom card mat dies to cut out two white mats.  I then used my Lawn Fawn Hillside Borders on one of the mats to create the snow.  I used the Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrop to create the background of the card (I also used the card mat die to get the stitched edging).  The super cute penguin and sentiment came from Jaded Blossom's Penguin Dress Up set and was colored using my copic markers.  I fussy cut the penguin and bow before adhering them to the card mat (not too bad considering it was the 1st time I've tried it).  If I make the card again, I think I'll try using pop dots under the penguin instead.

Vampire Teeth

Finally had a chance to do a crafting project that's been on my todo list for a few weeks!  I found gummy fangs at Target a few weeks back and just knew they'd make for a fun treat!!

For my treat, I used the Fancy Topper Die, Mini Tag Dies 2, and Halloween Signs from Jaded Blossom.  The Vampire face came from SVG Cutting Files- Vampire Milk Carton.  I had to tweak the vampire face by eliminated the mouth cutout since I wasn't attaching it to the milk carton.

I used mandarine twine from The Twinery to attach the tag to the topper. I thought I'd try something different (for me) by wrapping the twine around the topper bag a few times before tying on the tag.

Game Day Treats

It was our week for snacks after the soccer game, so of course I took the opportunity to create a fun Game Day Treats bag!  And I couldn't have done it without my Jaded Blossom Stamps- Go Team, Sport Candies, Stitched Circle dies & Mini Tag Dies 2.  The soccer ball is from the cricut store.  I have a feeling these stamps are going to come in very handy over the next few years!

I found the fun soccer ball chocolates at Party City when I was getting C's birthday party supplies.  I just couldn't pass them up!   When cutting out the soccer balls, I accidentally loaded the wrong paper, hence the backwards looking soccer ball bag on the left.  Since soccer balls now come in a a variety of colors I decided to just go with it instead of cutting out new ones.

Here is a close up of the tag on each bag.  I tied them on with some twine from my stash.

I used the smallest stitched circle die as a background for the candy stamp.

Shout out to Candace and Annie from Bomb Squad Blogs for the amazing new design on my blog!!

HB2U

I had so much fun making this card for my niece's birthday!!  The best part was I was able to put it together from start to finish in about 45 minutes.  And yes that includes designing it.  I was able to cut out all of the balloons using scraps of paper.  I also used pop dots for the 1st time on this card.  I'm so glad I added them to my stash as I don't think the card would have looked as good had I glued the balloons flat on the card.

For this card I used all Jaded Blossom products- card mat dies, birthday dies, and supersize birthday greetings.

Thank You Card

I recently found a super cute card using Lil' inker designs Lattice Die and instantly envisioned a ton of card ideas!!  Needless to say I had to order it right away.  (Unfortunately I did not save the card that inspired me.)  Thankfully my envelope of goodies came today so of course I had to play!!

I just love the way this card turned out!!

I cut an olive green piece of paper in half in order to create an A2 card base.  I then used my new Lattice Die and Thanks die (also from Lil inker designs).  Thanks is cut out on a tan piece of paper and I cut cream paper for the background.  I think the hardest part was gluing the lattice cut out down!

Halloween Match Boxes

EEK!!  I just love the SVG Cutting Files Match box (long) file! It's super easy to cut out and put together.  So far I have created two different looks with the matchbox.  Of course I had to use my Jaded Blossom Stamps & Dies!

For my 1st matchbox I used the Jaded Blossom Halloween Dies for the bats, spider, and web.  The trick or treat came from a die I purchased at a local scrapbooking store.  I used stone twine (The Twinery) to connect the spider to its web.

On my second box, I used a grass file from the cricut store and cut it the length of the box.  The ghosts are cut from the Halloween dies and their faces are from the new Spidey Senses.  The orange sign is from the card mat dies and the Happy Halloween is from the Halloween Poop stamp set.

I just love how both of them turned out!!

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

1) SVG Cutting Files- Anything Fall Challenge
2) Jaded Blossom- Fall Colors
3) PDE Linky Party- 3D Projects

Hello Kitty Halloween Treat Bag

Halloween is just around the corner so I thought I'd try my hand at creating some Halloween treats.  After paper piecing all of C's superman birthday invites and then utilizing the print & cut feature on my Cricut Explore, I decided to just use the print & cut as it was so much easier and less time consuming!  Besides once Halloween is over, the treat bag will end up in the trash anyway! I was finally able to use my Jaded Blossom Label Dies and just love how it turned out!!  The Hello Kitty Witch came from a previous SVG Cutting Files blog hop and is not longer available. I also used the goody bag die and halloween candies stamps from Jaded Blossom.

The goody bag still needs something in the top left corner, I just don't know what.  If you have a suggestion, please share!!

Sofia the First Cards

Phew!  What a busy week being back at work!!  I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to made some birthday and thank you cards the weekend.  I used quite a few Jaded Blossom dies on both of my cards.

First up is a birthday invite.  I started with a card base that I purchased from Hobby Lobby with the intention of adding a card mat die.  As I was putting it together, I realized the card base was not the correct size which resulted in me using the border dies on each side of the card.  I also used the scalloped circle and the stitched circle.  For Sofia, I decided to give the print & cut feature of my cricut explore a try.  (After this first try, I think I'm in love with this feature!!)

For my second project I created a thank you card.  For this one I decided to create my own card base by printing the thank you statement with my printer and then cutting the paper in the dimensions of an A2 card.  The design layout came from a Stamp Annie Thing blog post.  I again used the print & cut feature to cut out Sofia.  I again used the card mat die, as well as the mat for the goodie bag die, and the fancy topper die.

Music Birthday Card

I'm glad I participated in the Jaded Blossom  Sale as I was able to get some amazing products!!  I was able to make my sister's birthday card using only stamps and dies from Jaded Blossom.  Although I know I have some work  to do on my creativity, I enjoyed making it!  (And that's what matters right?!?!)

For the cover, I used the card mat die, scalloped circle die, stitched circle die, and the dimensional banner die.  I also stamped a white paper with the tape from music to my ears.  This was my first coloring project with copic markers.  All things considered, I think it turned out well! Since I have such a small collection of markers, I had to use a brown (E79) along with the colorless blender for the tape base instead of a gray shade.  I also used RV19, RV14, BG 57 and EV51.

On the inside of the card I cut another card mat and used the gift card die.  (Note to self, the card with fit horizontally and look better.) The sentiment also came from the music to my ears stamps.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'd love to hear your thoughts on making this card better as I'm still new to the idea of making cards.  :)

Superman Lego Card

As my monster's birthday is fast approaching, I decided to craft his birthday invitations this year instead of purchasing them.  As a result, he will be having a superhero lego party.  I was able to participate in the SVG Cutting Files Charity Blog hop and obtain the Lego Hop Package.  I used the Superman file on the invite along with a card mat die from Jaded Blossom.  I found the speech bubble on the Cricut Design space.  "Party!" is a part of the Jaded Blossom Supersized Birthday Greetings.  Because I was making 15 cards, I decided to use my cricut explore to cut out all of the circles.  I discovered they blended in with the base so I edged them with a black marker in order to give it depth.  (or so I hope!)  My intentions are to use the batman file for the thank you notes.  Considering how long it took me to put the invites together, I'm not sure if I'm up for the challenge or not!!

I will be entering the invite into my 1st Challenges over at SVG Cutting Files June Challenge : All About the Boys and Jaded Blossom July Monthly Challenge.  Wish me Luck!! ;) And thanks for stopping by!

Happy 4th of July

My box of goodies (stamps / dies) arrived from Jaded Blossom today so of course I had to take a break from cleaning and make a 4th of July goody for my monster!  I used the Goody Bag die, Mini Tag Dies 2, Star Dies, and the Celebrate America stamp to create my project.  I do wish I had the Patriotic Candies Stamps to complete this project.  (Good thing there's always next year!)

Giving it a try!

I'm jumping on the blogging bandwagon and giving this a try!  Hopefully I can figure this out!  :)
